Official Rules

- Program Period: 7/1/09 - 6/30/10
- Double Trip Points: All product purchases
- Triple Trip Points on select product:
- Windows
- Interior Moulding & Millwork
- Kitchen & Bath Products
- Cabinets, countertops, showers and tubs
- Lighting Products
- Decorative
- Interior/Exterior
- Double and Triple Trip points for Trip Redemption Only.
- Single points will be used for merchandise redemption.
- Once you complete Level 1, your points start over again.
- Points do not rollover to the next program year.
- In order to redeem, account must be current and in good standing by July 31, 2010, for the June 30, 2010, statement (no exceptions).
- Account must be current at time of the trip in order to travel.
- If customers are past due or are turned over to collection at any time, they shall forfeit their points.
- Trips must be redeemed from 8/01/10 - 8/30/10.
- Merchandise must be redeemed from 8/01/10 - 9/30/10.
- Enrolled customers may “buy up” to a trip. Please call our Travel Planner at 330-673-6100 ext. 489 for details and costs.
- There is no “buy up” on merchandise.
- All points are redeemed at the highest point value in the trip level.
- You must have a minimum of 75,000 qualified points to redeem.
- If any reward item has been removed from the program or is otherwise
no longer available, Carter Lumber will replace such item with another
item of equal value.
- Participants will not be permitted to substitute awards or to return any merchandise or trips for cash or store credit.
- Participants agree to allow Carter Lumber, without additional compensation, the right to use and publish their name,
photograph, state of residence, the number of Yard Rewards program
points accumulated and merchandise or trips redeemed with such points in its marketing
and promotional materials. Acceptance of merchandise or trips constitutes such permission.
- Carter Lumber shall not be responsible for and disclaims any and all warranties regarding any merchandise or trips redeemed under this program. Carter Lumber shall not be liable
for any damages of any kind resulting from the use of the merchandise or trips.
- Carter Lumber reserves the right in its sole discretion to interpret any rules of this program and to disqualify any participant that violates
any rules of the program.
- Unless the Yard Rewards program is extended by Carter Lumber, any purchases made after the annual program close will
accumulate points toward the following year’s program.
- Carter Lumber has the right to amend the trips and merchandise available under this program at any time without notice to
or approval of any participant.
- Participants are solely responsible for any federal, state or local taxes attributed to any trips or merchandise.
- Participants must complete a W-9 to redeem for trips and merchandise. Carter Lumber will send participants who have redeemed points for trips or merchandise during the preceding year a 1099 form for tax purposes.
Travel Redemption
- All trips are redeemed online August 1 - August 30, 2010.
Log on to carterlumber.com/yardrewards. You will then be directed
to the travel side of the website.
- Once you fill out a travel redemption form, our travel planner
will be happy to work with you to make your trip enjoyable.
- Trips redeemed for Yard Rewards points may only be used by an
authorized account holder or an employee of the participating company.
- Carter Lumber will schedule all trips as group events.
- If reservations are cancelled after tickets have been issued, neither the trip nor any points redeemed for the trip may be exchanged for another reward
item. Customer is responsible for any cancellation fees incurred.
- Carter Lumber reserves the right to change or modify the trip before the reservation deadline date.
- Double and Triple Trip Points are only valid for “trip” redemption.
- Once points are redeemed for a trip all points the customer has accumulated will be redeemed for that trip - there will be no “extra’ points remaining or available
for merchandise purchases.
- If you would like to redeem points for multiple trips, or “buy up” to a higher level trip, call our Travel Planner at 330-673-6100 ext. 489 for details and costs.
- For example, the customer has earned 1,000,000 points, and they want to add
a second couple and attend the Orlando trip, they redeem each trip at the
500,000 point level. Under this scenario, the
customer could receive two Orlando trips for their 1,000,000 points.
- Account must be current at the time
of trip in order to travel.

Merchandise Redemption
- Log onto www.carterlumber.com/yardrewards
August 1 - September 30, 2010 to redeem points for merchandise.
- Double and Triple Trip points are not applicable toward merchandise.
- There is no “buy up” of points for merchandise.
- For questions regarding merchandise redemption (or to “buy up” to trips, call our Travel Planner
at 330-673-6100 ext. 489).
- There will be no credits issued for unused points.
