Carter Lumber Announces Educational Award

Carter Lumber announces the creation of the W.E. Carter Scholarship, named in honor of Carter Lumber’s founder, W.E. Carter. In keeping with the Carter Lumber philosophy and in celebration of their 70th Anniversary, Carter Lumber recognizes their long-standing relationship with the Ohio agricultural community by providing two scholarships of $2,000 each. Recipients will be selected from Ohio Future Farmers of America (FFA) members who choose to attend a college or university located in the state of Ohio.

"Giving back to the community was always important to W.E. Carter," states Neil Sackett, president of Carter Lumber and grandson to W.E. Carter. "With this in mind, Carter Lumber is proud to support the Ohio FFA and agricultural community."
