Carter Lumber Moves To Parkersburg - Grand Opening Celebrated
Carter Lumber makes a new home in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The hometown lumberyard has moved from a smaller location in Belpre, Ohio, to a larger location at 6001 Pike Street in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This new facility houses a vastly expanded showroom and has combined its lumber store and plumbing, electric and heating store under one roof.
In addition to Carter Lumber’s increased retail showroom space, the new six and a half acre lumberyard features four warehouse buildings and a lumberyard that is stocked with a complete line of lumber and building materials. A separate contractor sales area within the showroom has been established to service the needs of local contractors. The showroom features a building projects center complete with materials for all types of construction. Customers can choose from standard package designs or let Carter Lumber produce a custom design based on a customer’s specific needs. This new location also showcases a kitchen design center.
