Objective

In this new construction home, we really wanted to make their custom range hood and 12' ceilings the focus as you walked into this open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space. By keeping with a simple shaker door and clean, vertical lines we were able to keep the symmetry while not losing focus on what was important. Both homeowners are quite kitchen savvy and wanted a space that flowed easily for everyday meals as well as large family get-togethers during the holidays.

Features

This kitchen features all stainless steel Thermador appliances with a built-in, walk-through pantry on the refrigerator wall. All wall & oven cabinets are stacked to achieve a 10' height with drawer and glass detail on the reduced-depth buffet area. The 12-foot island features a large under mount farm sink, a mixer cabinet, a double waste basket pull-out, as well as additional drawer storage. The 36" Thermador range is flanked with a base pantry pull-out and a 12" tray cabinet with built-in divider. On either side of the custom MetalCraft range hood are 24" floating shelves to display their custom copper glass vases.
