He noted, "Our relationship with Carter Lumber goes back decades, and for us, our two companies have a rich history." Williams highlighted Andersen's origins, stating, "Many do not know this, but we started as a lumber company in 1903."

Williams emphasized the shared values that have strengthened the partnership: "Both of our companies share a lot of things in common—both our growth mindset and our values—but we both share something that Jeff [Donley] spoke about which is we are family-owned as well, and that gives us an advantage in thinking about the short, medium and long term." He added, "We both share an aspiration to strive for excellence and to provide a world-class customer experience."

Adam Lombard, Senior Vice President of Carter Lumber, praised Andersen's commitment, stating, "Andersen has dedicated initiatives that prioritize Carter Lumber and offer a world-class program and support. We are honored to recognize them as our 2024 Vendor of the Year."
