WE’RE HIRING GREAT PEOPLE AT CARTER LUMBER — CAREERS BUILT AROUND PEOPLE
WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT JUST RESUMES.
At Carter Lumber, we believe that great teams start with great people — not just job titles. While we may not always be hiring for a specific position, we’re always looking for dependable, driven individuals who are ready to grow with us.
Whether you have experience in construction, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or you’re just looking for a new path — if you’re hardworking and eager to make a difference, we’ll help you find the right role.
Why Work at Carter Lumber?
- Full Benefits After Your First Full Month: We take care of our team with health coverage, 401(k), and more.
- Consistent, Daytime Hours: No evenings. No weekends. Just steady work with time for life outside of it.
- Real Opportunities to Advance: We promote from within and invest in long-term careers — not short-term jobs.
- Family-Owned Since 1932: We’ve been building more than just homes for over 90 years — we build futures.
No Experience? No Problem.
We value character over credentials.
If you show up, work hard, and are open to learning, we’ll meet you where you are and help you grow.
From entry-level to experienced trades, our roles range across our network of locations and departments — and we match great people with the right opportunity.
READY TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP?
